Each year a number of brass plaques are cast to be given as a memento to people who bring vehicles to the fair or who help by stewarding. Each years design is different. Last year we asked children to create a design for 2007 and at a recent stewards meeting we asked them all to vote on which they thought the best. The winner was Jess Bason aged 11 who can be seen receiving the first plaque cast with her design, which features a Michaelmas Goose and the Castle, below. |
